Patty Rose is a renowned instructor of both dance and fitness in New York City and the Greater Metropolitan Region. Patty’s great love for dance naturally led her into the fields of physical fitness, physiology, and kinesiology. This integration of dance and fitness has led Patty to pioneer a unique fitness program designed especially for dancers called Dance Strong!™. She is the author of “The 5 Point Posture Check” e-book and producer of Dance Strong!™ DVD series. Her teaching methods impart high energy, motivation, and positive self-esteem to her students.
Patty holds certifications with Dance Educators of America (DEA) and the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) as both an Aerobics Instructor and Personal Trainer. After receiving her B.A. in Dance from Hofstra University, she managed several dance schools such as The Dance Corner and The Art in Me Performing Arts Center on Broadway. She also co-founded the Byram Arts Center Dance School in Connecticut. Patty has performed with prestigious dance companies on television and in theaters including the Q-Review Ballroom Dance Company.
