16 years ago today I moved into the city. This was a big move, a huge change, and an exciting next step.
.
We had been engaged about two weeks and the move happened fast. I think I had been preparing for it; cleaning out closets, drawers, furniture, — sorting, organizing, shedding.
.
I had lived in that apartment in Yonkers for 10 years. It was a cute 2 bedroom with good neighbors. It was a good home to me.
After 10 years, it was time.
I was ready. I wanted more.
.
I find interesting that these big milestones in life – the ones that seem to take forever, are the same ones that happen in a flash, often cascading a series of related events to take place.
.
You know those types of things you dream of, that seem so out of reach, and then BAM! You’re in a whirlwind of change.
.
The discouragement and the doubt holding a place in your body and thoughts
— all of a sudden —
make way when excitement, elation, and joy push it out and took up residency.
.
I feel this stirring has begun once again.
.
I feel it is happening collectively.
.
The past few years has pushed many to laser focus on what is most important and how to most deeply serve, teach and share their passions.
💖
If this is you, I see you. Take a deep exhale and know you are not alone.
💖
Clarity can take planning, and sorting, and organizing. It's a bit like moving – packing boxes, compartmentalizing, de-cluttering.
.
With so many changes stirring,
.
Are you feeling stuck, are you ready to make decisions and be on the move?
.
All it takes for that cascading series of events to begin, is one thought.
.
That thought can lead to a decision, that decision can then lead to an action, which can lead to all the things falling into place.
.
It helps when you are connected and you know what point of the journey are currently on.
.
Your next move may be only a thought away –
